How to Record and Analyze EVP
Electronic Voice Phenomena (EVP) are paranormal audible events of unknown origin, which can be heard and captured in recordings on various types of electronic recording apparatus. The phenomenon has been captured using radios, televisions, tape recorders, telephones and answering machines, film, and a variety of digital equipment. Interest in EVP began in the1920s, when Thomas Edison suggested the possibility of constructing a machine to communicate with the dead. “It is possible to construct an apparatus,” he said in an interview in Scientific American, “which will be so delicate that if there are personalities in another existence or sphere who wish to get in touch with us in this existence or sphere, this apparatus will at least give them a better opportunity to express themselves than the tilting tables and rapping and Ouija boards and mediums and the other crude methods now purported to be the only means of communication.” During World War II there was a rash of EVP recordings intercepted by military equipment, but serious research began with the electronic age in the 1970s with the work of Konstantin Raudive, a disciple of Carl Jung. This step-by-step guide shows how to set up EVP sessions, how to successfully capture EVP using a variety of equipment, and how to record and analyze the results using your home computer. The Large LCD display has a backlight that can be turned On/Off manually. Or, you can apply a timer with pre-defined Off Delays from the Index Menu. A 360-degree Omni-directional stereo microphone is located at the top of the device, and a small 20mm speaker is located at the rear. Sound quality is superb. Includes headset and USB cable for connection to PC. Very small and light weight.

*Numerical 4-digit (0000) EVP Counter Interface Allows for more advanced question and response sessions. The Numerical Counter Interface with adjustable sensitivity, increments when a response is received, Tags, Dates Time Stamps the EVP Location on the recorded file, and can Separate a Class "A" EVP from other weaker responses.
*Auto ON / OFF Data Logging feature allows the RT-EVP's Counter Interface to be turned on/off to gather data automatically. This allows the user to place the RT-EVP anywhere and then retrieve it later. If any disturbances are detected during the recording time, they will logged and appear as tagged "counts" in the recorded file. These Tags which identify the exact location of the disturbance, are provided to eliminate unnecessary file review time.
*A FREE remote MIC is provided with separate left / right channel separation for assistance in determining EVP origin in a room. It is important to note that this MIC only operates down to 20Hz. Also, the remote MIC quality is not as good as our internal 15Hz MIC. This is offered  at no additional cost increase to user and is designed to be used for test and research purposes with the RT-EVP only.
*New Custom made 15Hz Sound Isolating ear buds from Koss Audio provides a separate volume control on the real time Playback. This will allow the user to adjust the playback volume control to eliminate any feedback at high MIC sensitivities.
